RAVENOL is our lubricants partners in the FIM Superbike World Championship. Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH has been developing and producing high-performance lubricants under the brand name RAVENOL since 1946. State-of-the-art laboratory and production facilities guarantee a consistently high product standard. The extensive range includes lubricants, greases, car care products, coolants and winter chemicals. Success in international motorsport has a very high priority at Ravenol, not only as a marketing platform to portray the quality and excellence of the products but at the same time as an important research and test field for the development of high-performance lubricants. In addition to the technical collaboration  with the engineers of the racing teams and series organizers, RAVENOL also works directly with manufacturers in the field of engine and transmission technology. This guarantees a consistently high quality standard of RAVENOL lubricants.

What a spectacular finale! What began in the spring of 2023 as a visionary conversation culminated in a historic triumph. BMW MOTORRAD Motorsport celebrated its first-ever World Championship title in the Superbike World Championship – achieved with a revolutionary synthetic fuel from NORDOEL. The close collaboration between BMW MOTORRAD Motorsport and NORDOEL not only led to an outstanding sporting success but also marked a technological breakthrough in the field of sustainable fuels.

In the spring of 2023, the vision began to take shape when NORDOEL and BMW MOTORRAD Motorsport took on the challenge of competing in WSBK with an innovative eFuel or synthetic fuel. This had to comply with the new FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) regulations, which mandated a minimum of 40% renewable energy content in fuels starting in 2024. The collaboration within the "Future Fuel" team, consisting of leading experts in technology and engineering, made it possible to overcome this challenge and develop a synthetic fuel that met the highest demands of motorsport.

NORDOEL leveraged its extensive expertise in synthetic fuels to develop the NORDOEL RacE-Fuel WSBK, a fuel that met the strict FIM regulations. Using the radiocarbon method, CO₂ reduction could be physically measured and verified for the first time. This was a decisive moment for both regulatory approval and success on the racetrack.

In 1990, Julius Ilmberger founded the company Ilmberger Carbonparts with the goal of offering carbon fiber parts of the highest quality. Today, the company is established as a recognized specialist in high-quality carbon and racing accessories.

Julius Ilmberger has been active in motorcycle racing since 1987 and, as a perfectionist, has always been committed to optimizing his machines down to the smallest detail. Early on, he was fascinated by the undeniable advantages of the carbon material.

Before series production, all carbon parts, whether for racing machines, production bikes, or automobiles, undergo numerous tests. These include rigorous long-term tests to ensure the durability of the products under extreme conditions. A strong partner in the FIM Endurance World Championship: Champion Lubricants is a brand of the Belgian company Wolf Oil Corporation, one of Europe’s leading independent manufacturers of high-performance lubricants with over 65 years of experience and expertise. With a portfolio of over 450 products and an extensive range only dedicated to motorcycle (engine oils, care products, fork and transmission oils), Champion is bringing products to the market that are developed in the own research & development centre and tested in the most demanding and extreme conditions, both on the track and off. This allows the company to guarantee solutions of the highest quality, during each individual manufacturing step and as final products.

Since its foundation in 1953, Nissin has focused on its brake engineering, producing light-weight products with its sophisticated casting of aluminium and contributing to safe driving for automobiles and motorcycles. Its engineering observes nowadays needs, like the reduction of environmental problems, which has been an issue in recent years. Nissin leads the motorcycle industry, being the first manufacturer of hydraulic brake systems and producing more than 20 million brake parts a year. BMW Motorrad started using Nissin brakes for the BMW S 1000 RR model in 2009, which had a high performance, and more models have been using them ever since. On the race scene, Nissin started supplying parts for motorcycle world championships in the second half of the 70s, which enabled them to gain trust thanks to many victories. Nissin meets the highest demands from the most prominent world races and continues improving in order to provide stable brakes for the fastest motorcycles. The BMW M 1000 RR race version uses a Nissin brake system, with an acknowledged exceptional performance. Nissin also supplies brake systems for users all over the world, with a positive feedback for its technology and enthusiasm.
